The University of Waikato is accepting the application for a Doctoral degree to study in New Zealand. University of Waikato PhD Scholarship is fully funded Ph.D. research scholarships for domestic and international students from all around the world for the academic year 2023-2024. The awards will cover all the expenses with a monthly living allowance. Applicants should normally be intending to study full-time at the University of Waikato, however, those who have compelling reasons for enrolling in the part-time study may be considered.

The University of Waikato was established in 1964, is a comprehensive university in Hamilton, New Zealand. The duration of the scholarship is three years and Scholarship holders also work part-time but recipients will not be permitted to undertake paid employment that exceeds an annual total of 500 hours. The Scholarship will cover the following:

• The living allowance is $27,500 Per Anum
• Domestic tuition fees for enrollment in the doctoral program.
• Thesis preparation grants.

Eligibility for Scholarship

• The scholarship is open to New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, and
  international students.
• a Master by coursework with a significant research component graded as high distinction, or equivalent
• An Honours degree achieving first-class honors
• Applicants must meet all the entry requirements for the Doctoral program at the University of Waikato.
• Applicants must meet the English language entry requirement.
