Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 18 years old but not yet 29 years old as of August 1 of the year they enroll as Schwarzman Scholars.
  • Undergraduate Degree: Applicants currently pursuing undergraduate degrees must be on track to complete all degree requirements before August 1st of the enrollment year.
  • Field of Study: There are no specific requirements regarding the field of undergraduate study; applicants from all academic backgrounds are welcome.
  • English Language Proficiency:
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):
      • Paper-based Test (PBT): Minimum score of 600.
      • Internet-based Test (iBT): Minimum score of 100.
    • International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Minimum score of 7.
    • English Proficiency Certificate:
      • This requirement is waived for applicants who studied at an undergraduate institution where the primary language of instruction was English for at least 2 years of their academic program.
